Petty Treason - Hangin' with Friends

There’s been a real buzz brewing in the American Oi! scene these past few years — from new blood like Shaved for Battle, Klaxon, and Ultra Sect to old guard acts still flying the flag. It’s raw again, unpolished, and rooted back in the streets where it belongs. Out of that same spirit comes Petty Treason, a no-bullshit trio from Salem, Oregon, who’ve just dropped their debut: Hangin’ With Friends, out now on 31 Records.

The Thirteenth Turn - Bokkenrijder

There’s a different kind of buzz you get when you press play on a record and you know one of the people behind it. It’s more personal. When I heard Stoke-on-Trent’s The Thirteenth Turn were dropping their debut full-length, I was intrigued. But knowing their singer is a fellow Dutchie? That changed everything. The band’s chosen name for the album, Bokkenrijder, hit me straight away. For anyone outside the Low Countries, it’s just a cool, aggressive-sounding title. For us, it conjures tales of the "Goat Riders"—18th-century outlaw gangs, rebels, and ghosts who terrorised the countryside of Limburg. It’s a piece of dark folklore, a perfect metaphor for a band that channels raw, rebellious energy.

No Time - Suffer no fools

With No Time announcing a brand-new 7-inch (Comply or Die, out soon on TKO & Mendeku Records), it felt like the perfect moment to look back at the record that marked their explosive return — Suffer No Fool. Because before you can understand where this Pittsburgh crew are headed, you’ve got to appreciate how hard they came swinging back in the first place.

An Slua - Sure look it

It took me a while to finally sit down and write this, but Galway’s An Slua made it worth the wait. From the windswept coast of Ireland they come with their first full-length Sure Look It. After smashing it with their How Ya Gettin’ On? EP, An Slua are ready to boot the door down with this full-length that’s gonna hit hard. If you’re into the likes of The Press, The Oppressed this one is for you.

The Corps – Watch It Burn

Thirteen years after Know the Code, Australian’s The Corps return with Watch It Burn — a lean, eight-song statement that reaffirms their reputation for blending streetpunk grit with Rose Tattoo-inspired rock’n’roll swagger. It’s a comeback that doesn’t feel nostalgic, but urgent and hungry. While many bands mellow out after a decade away, The Corps sound more melodic, more aggressive, and more confident.

The Young Ones – With a Touch of Panache

Two decades on the clock and still just Oi! – that’s The Young Ones in a nutshell. These lads from the Netherlands have built a reputation as one of the tightest, most reliable outfits in European Oi!, and their new album With a Touch of Panache proves once again why they’ve held that spot for so long.

Booze & Glory - Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Six years after their last full-length, Booze & Glory return like they never left – loud, proud, and with pints in hand. Released September 12th on Concrete Jungle Records, this album is a straight-up celebration of street punk: short, sharp songs built for sing-alongs, with gang chants and chunky riffs stacked sky-high.

A.C.A.B. - Best of A.C.A.B. Compilation Vol. 1 – Re-recorded, Mixed & Mastered in Germany

When talking about Malaysian Oi!, there’s no avoiding A.C.A.B.. Formed in 1994, the band quickly earned the nickname Godfathers of Malaysian Skinhead/Oi! and kickstarted a movement that would influence countless youth in the region. Their early demo tape, released through their own Brovver Brigade Records, spread like wildfire, with tracks like Unfairground, City Girl and Fight for Your Right circulating hand to hand.

Over the Hill - Older and Wiser

Montreal’s Over the Hill are proof you don’t have to check out of Oi! just ’cause life’s throwing curveballs. These punk vets—born from Street Troopers and Shock Troops—deliver a no-bullshit, shout-along record packed with dirt, sweat, and a sly grin. But here’s the kicker: they ditch the usual punk clichés and get real about the stuff that hits hard—parenthood, getting old, and the grind of middle-class life, all served with a smirk. “Never Forget” captures the madness of family road trips, “Can’t Run” cracks up at busted knees in full riot mode, and “Low Hangin’” stares middle age dead in the eye.  Half the tracks are in French, the rest in English, packing that Montreal bilingual punch. Sound-wise, it’s pure Oi!: snarling riffs, massive sing-alongs, and just enough twists—like the glam piano on “Young Again”—to keep you hooked. Raw, real, and packed with heart, this debut shouts loud and proud: getting older in punk doesn’t mean fading out.
