Brand new crew out of Canberra, Australia, but don't sleep—these guys ain't rookies. Two brothers from thrash outfit Hellbringer jumped ship to forge something meaner: old school heavy metal hammered with hardcore punk edge, no bullshit frills.
Forged in the fire of classic metal legends and sharpened by punk's raw grit, they deliver thunderous riffs, relentless rhythms, and menacing leads wrapped in wartime chaos. Their lyrics delve into the chaos, horror, and human cost of World War I trench warfare, evoking themes reminiscent of Bolt Thrower or Memoriam.
Debut single "At Dusk" dropped back in September 2025 as a taster, and it's a snarler: mid-tempo stomp with gritty vocals barking over heavy grooves, punk aggression bleeding into metal muscle—think early Motörhead meets Integrity's bite, but with Aussie dirt under the nails.
The full EP clocks in at five tracks: "The Smoke Will Dance" blasts in with war sounds that hurl you into the battlefield before building creeping tension, "Creeping Barrage" unleashes artillery riffs, title cut "Storm Of Steel" pounds defiant, "At Dusk" we know, and "Guns Fall Silent" wraps it somber but fierce.
This EP is a sonic warfare, explosive and unyielding. If you're chasing that underground crossover where metal's thunder clashes with punk's fury, this rips hard. Solid as hell for a first strike.
