If you have been wanting that honest street punk to come back Control have just released what we were looking for. Their sixth album, Kick Down The Doors is the new music from them in over seven years and it is really good.
This album starts with a lot of energy. Keeps it going. Control's music feels like it is real and urgent. It is full of anger fighting back and that strong Oi! feeling.
The song "Kick Down The Doors" is a song that you will like right away it has that energy that Control is known for. Overall the album has a mix of being really loud and aggressive and also having parts that are catchy and easy to sing along to that you will remember long after the album is over. It is loud, honest and does not apologize for anything. That is what good Oi! punk music should be like.
After not releasing music for a time Control sound more excited and energetic, than ever. The album just does what Control do make straight up real punk rock music that people can relate to, especially those who are tired of all the bad things. Control music is what people need when they are fed up with everything. Control is back. They are still making great music.
