IMPACT! have quickly established themselves as a sharp new presence in the NorCal underground. Drawing from classic working-class Oi! and street-punk traditions, the band delivers a direct, physical sound that prioritizes energy, clarity, and authenticity over trend-chasing. Their sound is pure solid hard Oi, street-ready attitude with just enough rockandroll. For me that pretty much sums up what they’re about in the NorCal scene.
The album (Released October 1, 2026 ) kicks off with a radio intro for 'Stay Rude', a stomper that sets the tone, direct, physical and designed to be played loud with the shaved head, bad attitude chorus.
The band sticks to the same straightforward rockandroll approach and powerful impact, as can be heard in the subsequent 'Pure Impact!', 'Laced Up' and 'S.O.S' that stretch the dynamics. Chased by Hounds' goes for the throat. Peak chaos while the short, sharp 'ACAB' is pure skinhead rockandroll.
'The Cost' strikes the right chord, making one think about the kind of music we listen to and why, again pure rockandroll.
Impact! is a focused, high-energy debut that lives up to the hype. For fans of classic working-class, skinhead rockandroll Oi! with a modern NorCal edge, this is essential listening.
