NYC street-punk lifers have returned and are delivering at the top of their game! Their 12th full-length and debut at Hellcat features Casualties-style energy pure fast paced, gang-chorus hardcore/street punk that's packed with UK 82 style and of course that original New York grit.
A news-chaos intro lasting a few seconds only serves as a preface to the eponymous song that comes out blazing with just 90 seconds of pure adrenaline. From that moment on it's nothing short of a heat wave "People Over Power, " "Empire Falls, " "Allies and Assassins, " "Pigs on Fire, " and "Streets of Hatred" are all very punchy short numbers played in fast succession that are made to get the crowd moving.
Vinnie Stima is delivering a spoken-word piece on "Brick by Brick." Native American punks 1876 are enhancing with some solid drumming/ vocals to "Ashes of War."
"Few the True" is a standout track with a catchy chorus that's a sing-along for the ages and which lights up the middle of the record.
The Casualties are on top of their game again with an extremely tight and high-energy sound that is made for pits. Crank it up and jump in together!.
