Toy Tiger - Meow Sabotage

Toy Tiger ain’t fucking around. Meow Sabotage is loud, scrappy, and clawed up with enough bite to shred through the bullshit that clings to Oi! like a bad smell. Forget every tired stereotype about skinheads—this record spits in the face of that garbage and plants its boots firmly in anti-fascist, street-level reality.

“Pyromania” is the obvious highlight—a blazing anthem against racists, homophobes, and transphobes, with that unforgettable line: “It could be you.” It’s the kind of song you can picture a room shouting back at the band while pints splash across the floor.

But the whole LP carries weight. It’s grim, it’s pissed, and it’s real.

The band’s lineup lock in tight. The guitars slice glam into Oi!’s brickwall, the bass throbs like a heartbeat under the chaos, and the drums are built for marching and brawling. Production stays raw, but never sloppy—it’s got that street-level clarity where you can actually hear every hook while still feeling like you’re in the back room of a dive bar.

Meow Sabotage says: Oi! isn’t dead, it isn’t fascist property, and it’s still a weapon for those of us fighting from below. Scarfield the mascot might look like a joke, but the message sure as hell isn’t.

If you still think skinheads are all goose-stepping clowns, this LP should set you straight. And if you’re already in the know, this is the record you blast on the way to the gig.
